Ascertainment of Working Expenses actually incurred in

respect of through traffic under article No 22.

Each section shall keep an account of its working expences

in the form of the attached "Allocation of Revenue Expendi-

ture" and the total of such Revenue Expenditure shall be

deemed to be the total working expenses of each section. or the total working expenses of each section as defined in rule 1 above a proportion, bearing the same ratio to the

grogs whole as the gross receipts of the section bear to its' receipts from through Traffic as defined in article 22, shall be deemed to be the amount of the working expenses actually

incurred in respect of such through traffic

The gross receipts of the section" for the purpose of these rules include all receipts derived from the transportation

of passengers and goods and ordinary terminal charges, but do not include receipts arising from extraordinary terminal facilities, rent of surplus lands and the like.

No charge which is properly debitable to Capital Cost shall

be charged to Working Expenses.

If the ballasting charge per mile on either Section exceeds the charge per mile on the other Section the hither figure shall be reduced to the lower figure, and shall be the amount per mile admissible for purposes of calculation contemplated by

article 22 of this agreement.
